Anthony David and Algebra Blessett come together on record for the first time in over a decade

Atlanta vocalists Anthony David and Algebra Blessett have reimagined a BeBe & CeCe Winans classic in the 1988 #1 hit “Heaven”.   It’s a beautiful spine-tingling emotional rendition that BeBe himself praised after hearing it.

It’s Top 20 on the Gospel Airplay Chart.

Namibian Sunrise Mix of “Heaven”  featuring Taylor Jaye which is out Friday, June 9th

This collaboration was inspired by the previous remix for the dance floor called the “Amapiano Mix” produced by Eddie Stokes.  The track has been gaining popularity internationally.  Anthony has always had a love of Afrobeats and Afro House and spent some time in Africa performing and working with local musicians and releasing mixes in that style.

This Namibian Sunrise Mix takes the song further into Amapiano territory.  He and Algebra are joined by award-winning Namibian vocalist Taylor Jaye, who has been building her career out of Namibia and Johannesburg.  Her music, which is sung in one of the oldest and most unique African languages Damara, has earned her such accolades as Best House Music Award at the 2020 Namibian Music Wards.   She has performed in South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, Dubai and the US, and in 2021 she made history as the first Namibian artist to perform at London’s O2 Arena.
